Pinal County Court Dockets

Pinal County court records, Arizona, are available through several channels. PinalCourt.us allows you to search for public information about court cases in the county. Additionally, records can be found through official state court system online portals, court clerks' offices, and public terminals directly in court buildings.

Pinal Court System & Jurisdictions

Pinal County operates a two-tier court system — Superior Court and several Justice Courts, each serving a designated area.

Pinal County Superior Court handles the broadest range of cases:

  • Criminal cases — felonies (serious crimes)
  • Civil lawsuits with no monetary limit
  • Family law — divorce, custody, alimony
  • Probate (inheritance cases and estate management)
  • Mental health and involuntary hospitalization cases
  • Appeals from Justice Courts

Information about the criminal process in Superior Court — from arrest to sentencing — can be viewed on the criminal cases page.

Justice Courts of Pinal County have limited jurisdiction. They handle:

  • Misdemeanors (minor offenses) and petty criminal violations
  • Traffic violations
  • Civil lawsuits up to $10,000
  • Small claims cases up to $3,500
  • Orders of protection against violence
  • Eviction cases

Justice Court decisions can be appealed to Superior Court, except for small claims cases. Several Justice Courts operate in the county — Apache Junction, Casa Grande, Florence, Coolidge, and others — each serving its own district.

Pinal Court Calendar & Upcoming Hearings

The schedule of hearings depends on the court level. For Superior Court, the current hearing calendar is available through the Public Access Case Lookup system of the Arizona judiciary. You can find scheduled hearings by entering the case number or party name.

To find the schedule of a specific Justice Court, contact the respective court directly — contact details for all Justice Courts are listed on the official Justice Courts page. Some courts publish a daily calendar on their websites or provide information by phone.

Several practical tips:

  1. Find your case number — it's the quickest way to check the hearing date.
  2. Check the Public Access portal the day before — the hearing time may change.
  3. If you don't know the case number, call the court clerk's office and provide the full name of the party.

How to Get a Copy of a Pinal Court Document

Copies of Superior Court documents are issued by the Clerk of the Superior Court (COSC). There is a difference between a regular and a certified copy: a certified copy has the court seal and confirms the document's authenticity, which may be needed for legal purposes.

Online Request

Complete the court records request form on the Superior Court website. Provide the case number or the full name of the party. If the case number is unknown, an additional search fee may apply. After processing the request, the clerk's office will notify you of the amount due.

In Person

Visit the Clerk of the Superior Court's office:

You can also submit a request through the COSC portal — fill out the form, wait for the fee notification, pay, and wait for processing.

By Mail

Send a written request specifying the case number, party name, and type of document needed to the above clerk's office address. Include a self-addressed envelope and payment for postage.

Justice Courts records are requested directly from the respective Justice Court. General public records of the county are governed by Title 39 Arizona Revised Statutes (Public Records Act) — a separate request can be submitted through the county public records page.

Some records have restricted access. Juvenile cases, sealed criminal cases (sealed records according to ARS § 13-911), and adoption cases are usually closed to the general public.
